Within my drawings are impossible forms that are simultaneously weightless and cumbersome. My process is intuitive: rooted in both observation and imagination, the end results reside in a place of in-between. They are figurative and landscapes, yet are neither; real, but also reverie. While narratives are present, they are kept out of arm’s reach as the familiar dissolves into the unknown, flickering like half-forgotten memories. The sensorial fluctuations draw the viewer in and then invites them to become lost in a new world that is entirely their own.
