Sarah Rizzo was born in Los Angeles and raised in Hyde Park, New York. Constantly scribbling away on any available surface, it was only natural for her to consider the visual arts as a career. During her high school years, Sarah began taking classes at the Art Institute of the Mill Street Loft in preparation for college. During her time there, her work was accepted into and displayed in a number of local art competitions. In 2007, she relocated to Baltimore, Maryland to study at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Currently, she is pursuing a BFA in painting as well as an MA in teaching.
